For Men

Facial aesthetic treatments have become very popular amongst the male population. The increased desire to look younger or more masculine has allowed facial aesthetic treatments to be developed to cater for male faces.

When it comes to facial aesthetics, men have a very different set of considerations to take into account. Men’s skin tends to be thicker and more difficult to treat, facial muscles are much stronger and also the outcomes required can be very different to those of a woman.

At Arch Aesthetics, we understand why men who visit us are interested in youthful, vibrant skin. While aesthetic treatments are often targeted at women, men can also benefit from an energetic, revitalized appearance.

Our practitioners understand men’s unique facial needs, and we are equipped to meet those needs with a variety of aesthetic treatment options.

Wrinkle reduction (Brotox)

Wrinkle relaxants for men earned the nickname “Brotox”. Botox could be the key to help your aesthetic confidence. Targeted injections of Botox can arrest the facial muscles that create folds and lines, making your face look naturally youthful.

This injectable treatment can also alleviate wrinkles in the face including:

  • Forehead lines
  • Creases at the corners of the eye (crow’s feet)
  • Frown lines

We also use Botox as an injectable into the armpits to eliminate body odour and dramatically reduce sweating. It can also be injected into the hands to treat excessively sweaty palms.

It is well known that men need more muscle relaxant than their female counterparts. Muscles in the male face tend to be better defined and stronger so the average man will need around 25% more product in the treatment area.

Why are Botox prices higher for men compared to women?

The simple answer to this – stronger facial muscles means more product!

Dermal Fillers

A more chiselled profile can be very aesthetic for men. Facial contouring can be achieved in a variety of ways without resorting to surgery. Whether you want a straighter profile to your nose, a more chiselled chin, more structure to your cheekbones, we can help you achieve this using a range of techniques. Dermal fillers such as Juvederm and Restylane can be used to enhance facial features whilst Aquilyx can be used to reduce unwanted fat from the neck and under chin area.

At Arch Aesthetics, we offer a wide range of dermal fillers to lift and restore volume to the mid-face. Men often experience significant volume loss in the area around the nose, cheeks, and mouth, and our choice of fillers can help combat gravity by alleviating:

  • Ageing skin
  • Cheek and facial depressions
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Jowls

Hair Loss Treatment

Mesohair is a treatment to stimulate hair frown and repair damaged hair. It is used for the bio stimulation of hair follicles.  With the use of a meso needle, the skin of the scalp is punctured whilst injecting the mesohair solution.

Filorga NCTF® 135 HA is the mesohair solution that we use to treat hair loss. It is an anti-ageing mesotherapy product range composed of 53+1 active ingredients that enable poly-revitalization and deep hydration of skins lacking brightness, tonus, elasticity or firmness. It is particularly rich in vitamin B which prevents hair loss and regulates sebum secretion and dandruff caused by the build-up of cellular debris which asphyxiates the hair follicles. Greying is also reduced by Vitamin B.

Indications:

  • To treat non-androgenic alopecia
  • To repair hair prematurely damaged by environmental irritants (sun, pollution, diet, medication)
  • To stimulate hair growth and health
  • To eliminate dandruff and seborrhea
  • To create a healthy environment for hair transplants
  • To treat thin and/or devitalized hair
