Moisturising is important at any time of year, but even more so in the winter. Investing in a decent moisturiser is one of the most important parts of your winter skincare regime, thanks to its ability to replenish and hydrate dry skin.

But with so many on the market, how do you choose? Look out for ingredients such as Vitamin E and hyaluronic acid. The former is rich in antioxidants, which help to defend the skin against pollution, while the latter can hold 1,000 times its own weight in moisture: just what your skin needs!

By doing so, it also stimulates your skin’s production of collagen, giving your complexion a plumper, healthy glow – all in under 30 minutes!

Instead, try to limit your showers to 10 minutes maximum and keep the temperature lukewarm – not boiling hot.
